About

Glass Lab

What this shows

Glass Lab is an evidence index that organizes medical-aesthetic procedures so you can compare them by mechanism (MoA) × indication. Starting from concerns like melasma, dark spots, skin laxity, enlarged pores, or acne scars, you can see at a glance which procedure groups have solid clinical evidence and which rely mainly on observational studies.

Brand mapping

We have linked 238 brand and procedure names commonly used in Korean medical aesthetics to 48 procedure mechanisms. Searching by a brand name takes you to the evidence page for that mechanism.

A single procedure group may include multiple brands, but the evidence is organized at the mechanism level.

Grade and direction

Each combination shows a grade (A–F) together with a direction (supported, mixed, not supported, insufficient). The grade summarizes the number and quality of studies; the direction is a separate signal showing how the papers assess effectiveness.
