tier_other DAT-delivered astaxanthin reprograms adipogenesis through RhoGDI1 dephosphorylation at Ser174 and RhoA/FAK/ERK1/2 cascade suppression. Biomaterials · 2026 · PMID 41506140

Abstract summary (English) Adipose tissue serves as a primary approach for soft tissue defect repair, but clinical regeneration remains limited by inadequate adipogenic capacity. While astaxanthin (AST) can ameliorate adipose dysfunction, the underlying mechanisms governing its pro-adipogenic activity remain elusive. Here, we developed an AST-loaded decellularized adipose tissue (DAT) hydrogel with the aim of boosting adipogenic potential.

tier_other External Volume Expansion Adjusted Adipose Stem Cell by Shifting the Ratio of Fibronectin to Laminin. Tissue engineering. Part A · 2019 · PMID 31347463

Abstract summary (English) External volume expansion (EVE) is an effective method of adipose tissue regeneration. However, it remains unclear how EVE induces adipose tissue regeneration. In this study, we developed EVE devices to generate expanded prefabricated adipose tissue (EPAT) in rats and investigated cell proliferation, adipogenesis, and the expression of extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins during the 12 weeks suction.
